Our Local Shops

Horley and its shopsThe Shops in Horley Town Centre are really important. They are the focal point in the area and make the town centre bright and lively. The outlying shops in Horley Row, on the A23, in Charlwood, Earlswood, Salfords, Smallfield and our other local villages are also very important to local people.

Being just around the corner, staying open late, offering that special service and being part of the community make all of our local shops an essential part of our area.

The Chamber is committed to supporting our local shops. We have good working links with the Horley Association of Traders (HATs) and the Town Council. We will offer support and advice whenever called upon.

Use our Contact Form to get in touch. Become a member and have your say. Use this web site to make announcements. Tell us if you have problems. We will help where we can.

Young People's Centre

Horley Young People's Centre is for young people aged 10-19yrs. If you are in this age group this is your centre. You make it what it is.

This wonderful renovated old fire station provides a spacious internet cafe (printing, scanning and copying all FREE), a large studio, radio station/recording suite, meeting rooms and a fantastic team based in our youth work office.

The weekly programme includes sessions for Juniors (if your 11-13 yrs), Inters (14-16yrs) and Seniors (17-19yrs), as well as group work and community projects, summer schemes and residentials - making use of some fantastic bits of kit from snow machines to sumo suits you'll find something to interest you at Horley Young People's Centre!

There is a small Youth Enterprise Cafe - if you’re looking for some valuable work experience. Whether you just want somewhere to go, to try something new like our Monday Nights Soca-Box class or access a fantastic service to support you; our partners at NHS Virgin Care provide a Sexual Health Walk-In or YMCA's Head Together offer Youth Counselling. Alternatively we can signpost you to local colleges, employment opportunities, drugs & alcohol services or Surrey's Youth Support Service.

The Youth and Community Worker for this centre is Stephanie Gibson, she can be contacted on stephanie.gibson@surreycc.gov.uk.
