Our bakery bakes real bread
Real bread is the bread we love; it is handmade, full of natural ingredients and embraces the time-honoured craft of baking bread.
Natural, Sometimes Organic
We use organic flour, and although not all of the ingredients we use are organic, they are free from additives, assuring our customers that we care about the nutritional value of everything we bake. We aim to source locally whenever possible and are fortunate enough to have a like-minded farm shop on our doorstep.
Our Bread Selection
Some of our breads are made with levain or sourdough that contains no commercial yeast, only naturally occurring wild yeasts from a mixture of flour and water from the tap. The loaves take a while to proof, but the time taken enhances the flavour and lengthens the shelf life without the need for preservatives. This long fermentation method is a process that maximises the full potential of the flour and is what makes our bread look and taste outstanding.
